Our community was privileged to have a segment of the group ‘ Tigh Na Coille -Grupa Cheoil U15, Ennis 2016’ here to play for us on August 24th, before the competition on the Friday. It was a thrilling experience to have such lovely young people entertain us with out-of-this-world music. It is not often that the hair stands on our heads on hearing something so wonderful. So we were not one bit surprised to hear that ‘Tigh Na Coille’ were the winners of the U15 All Ireland competition. We are still basking in the reflected glory, and we feel very proud of the group and of the fact that they wanted to share something so beautiful with us. May they have win…after win…
