Listen, little poor ones called by the Lord, who have come together from many parts and provinces…Live always in the truth…

A life of Prayer and Poverty lived in Community

We, the Ennis Poor Clare Sisters, welcome you to our website.  Living an enclosed, contemplative life, we hope that the site will provide a window, giving you a glimpse and understanding of our vocation as followers of Saint Clare.

St Francis called St Clare  his ‘little plant’ as she was his most faithful follower and true to his ideals – following and loving the Poor Christ totally.

Our  lives are in the heart of the Church. A hidden life, but nonetheless fruitful and vibrant, as we embrace all that makes up the daily lives and concerns  of God’s  people, holding them in prayer.
